Independent Art Publishing
We partner with artists to produce fine art books, exhibition catalogs, and limited editions — made to last longer than any gallery show.
Our Belief
A great book does not explain your work — it becomes part of it. We build publishing partnerships with artists, galleries, and curators who understand that the object itself carries meaning. Every detail — paper weight, binding method, print surface — is a deliberate creative decision.

What We Publish
From your first monograph to a limited-edition artist book, every title we publish is designed to stand on its own — on a shelf, in a gallery shop, or in a collector's hands.
Full-career retrospectives or focused thematic volumes. Layflat binding, archival papers, print runs from 100 to 2,000 copies.
Show catalogs for galleries, museums, and pop-ups. Synchronized with installation dates, with optional essay commissions.
Short-run risograph and digital editions for emerging work, event-specific releases, and editions under 500 copies. Fast turnaround, no minimums.
Photo books printed on Hahnemühle and Canson fine art papers. Layflat spreads, duotone options, and custom endpapers for photographic work.
Numbered and signed limited editions with custom slipcases, foil stamping, and cloth binding. For the work that demands a higher tier of presentation.
Text-heavy publications — artist statements, critical essays, curriculum documents. Designed for reading as much as for looking.
How It Works
We review your work, discuss goals, and establish the scope. Budget, print run, timeline, and distribution — all on the table from day one.
We develop the visual language: cover treatment, paper selection, binding method, and layout grid. You review and refine before anything goes to press.
Digital and physical proofs. Color calibration to match your original work. Two rounds of revisions included — more if needed, at reasonable rates.
Short-run digital or offset printing with Smyth-sewn binding. Fulfillment to your door, to galleries, or direct to collectors. Inventory management available.
The Folio Advantage
Small print runs, custom finishes, and a publishing partner who treats your book as seriously as you treat your practice.
"The book is not a record of the work — it is the work."
